Lessons in Being a Scientist from CBT | #04

Happy Tuesday! Episode 4 is here with a tip for managing ‘failure’ by redefining our perception of who we are & what is ‘useful.’

|| PODCAST SUMMARY ||

We are told to reinvent ourselves by starting from scratch. But the roots of who you are already wait under the layers of ‘shoulds’ the world has given us. In many Western cultures, we are discouraged from failing. There is such a high price put on success and making that success look effortless, that any time we don’t reach our intended outcome, we feel bad for it. But we are wired to be scientists, and every step we take is evidence we can analyse and use to move forward.
