Happy Tuesday! This month seems to be moving a bit faster forward that September did, but that’s fine with me.
Either way, it’s time to share one of my favourite hacks for getting things done.
In today’s episode, I began trying to debunk myths about the “right” way to change your habits or improve your life and end up talking about how to half-arse your progress instead of getting caught up in perfectionism!
|| PODCAST SUMMARY ||
We are told to reinvent ourselves by starting from scratch. But the roots of who you are already wait under the layers of ‘shoulds’ the world has given us.
I had planned for this podcast episode to focus on ‘doing something okay-ish’ is still a way to make progress, and what began as trying to debunk myths about the “right” way to change your habits or improve your life, ended up as a summary of how to half-arse things (if the alternative is not to do them at all!) instead of getting caught up in all-or-nothing thinking.

love it! I really like the find 5 blue things practice. Im doing a night time gratitude journal, but im finding that im wanting to go write in it as im feeling ah I love that person, or this has been a lovely part of the day, but I cant say ive been doing it religiously or keeping tabs on how often, just when i feel inspired.
I feel that its deepend from the past where it was more of a habit list like the new age books suggest and i was more trying to do it rather than going back to the practice more as it feels good when I do it so I think your relationship with practices change over time and whats going on in your life.
